A message from Pete and Wendy…
Good Morning
Only the Murphys’ could go on a long awaited holiday to Malta with a
mission and Pete ending up 3 days in a Maltese hospital!
But you see we are the Murphys and are just like that fictional Thunderbirds opening sentence: “Anything could happen in the next half hour.”
It has to be said this describes the Murphy day to day as anything but fictional. We are living breathing walking real life, true reality!
Even so, we are delighted to be able to tell you that you know in the first
instance we wanted to raise funds for this beautiful building and all of its
magnificent community work.
WE started out with a modest £250.which soon became 400 and now we are overwhelmed to tell you that our final total has gone beyond our
wildest prayers!
With the Go Fund Me and your envelope donations we have raised together £1237 how amazing is that!
Its’ not too late to give. There are more envelopes around and you will find the link on St. Pauls’ Carlton Facebook Page and website.
Smashing through every goal that has been set for Pete and for us as a family! Its’ heartwarming and everyone can see, the whole world can see that, St. Pauls’ believes in itself and its mission to bring Gods’ Kingdom near.
This week we celebrate Christ The king, we remember that God is with us every step we take - do you like it? Every breath we take, every move, even if that’s’ when we have some of those breaths and moves
from a hospital bed. God is watching us and moving with us.
Celebrate with us!
Christ is King over everything and everyone. Alleluia! Xx
Sooooo, not today Satan!
